Jacob Hammernik

Jacob Hammernik, 68, a resident of Sunnybrook of Adel, passed away suddenly on Friday, March 18, 2011. He was an avid Bingo player and a gentle soul who will be missed.

Left to cherish Jacob’s memory are a sister, Ada Babcock of Colorado; brother, Marvin (Delane) Hammernick of Des Moines; niece, Sherry (Brad) Strasser of Des Moines; and numerous other nieces and nephews, as well as his many friends at Sunnybrook.

A burial of Jacob’s cremated remains will be held at 4:00 P.M., Wednesday, March, 23, 2011, at the Powers-Warren Cemetery.
