Christine “Christy” Wright, 44, died unexpectedly Thursday, March 17, 2011, at her home in Des Moines. She was born May 29, 1966, to Thomas Wright and Naomi Coppick in Des Moines.
Christy worked as a housekeeper for the Radisson Hotel on Fleur Avenue. She enjoyed cross stitch and spending time with her family.
Christy is survived by her mother, Naomi Coppick; father, Thomas Wright; son, Ryan Truman; sisters, Julie (Joe) Venn and Lisa Wright; nephews, Christopher (Nicci) Truman, Tyler Venn, Cole Potter, and Bryce Raso; niece, Nicole (Boone) Hutton; fiancé, Marland “Moe” Oglesby; and a host of other family and beloved friends.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Monday, March 21, 2011, at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street. Family will greet visitors from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday, at the funeral home.

Naomi, Christy was a very dear friend of mine. I haven't talked with her for couple of years, had no way of finding her. I am so sorry for your dear christy she will be missed by many of her friends and her family. I had met you a few times when me and her lived together at the beacon of life. Naomi my prays are with you.

Dear Naomi and "Girls",
