Judy Rieckmann

Judy A. Rieckmann, 61, died Monday, April 2, 2007 at Iowa Lutheran Hospital. The funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, April 6, 2007 at Lutheran Church of the Cross in Altoona where she was a member. Burial will be in Altoona Cemetery.
Judy was born February 4, 1946 to Ronald and Alice Fitchner in Cushing, Iowa. She graduated from Anthon-Oto High School in Anthon, Iowa in 1964. She then attended Wayne State College in Wayne, Nebraska. In 1966 she was united in marriage to Ronald Rieckmann. Judy had been employed at the Legacy Bank in Altoona.
Judy is survived by her loving husband Ron; her daughter Jennifer Corrick of Des Moines; her mother Alice (Phil) Hageman of Sioux City; her sisters: Peggy (Jack) Hansen of Decorah, Penny (Keith) Hansen of Correctionville, and Paula Fitchner of Sioux Falls, SD; her brother Jim Fitchner of Lincoln, NE; her grandmother Lalia Downey of Correctionville; her only living aunt, Mary Alice Drossel; and 12 nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her infant sister Rhonda Alice Fitchner; her father Ronald Fitchner; and her grandfather Roy Downey.
The visitation will be 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. Thursday, April 5, 2007 at Lutheran Church of the Cross-Cross Creek in Altoona
