Carolyn Nickerson, 71, passed away March 9, 2011, at Bright Kavanagh House. She was born January 8, 1940 in Des Moines.
Carolyn’s whole world revolved around her family, and spending time with her grandchildren. Those left to cherish her memory are her children, Roy (Lori) Connett, Jr., William (Lisa) Connett and Tammy (Tim) Wilhelm; step-daughters, Kris Lafary and Kathy Rivas; 19 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Connett, Sr.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, March 12, 2011, at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street, followed by burial at Laurel Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
