My heart was breaking when I heard the news. Roxy and I lost touch over the years when I moved away but she will always remain a special part of my heart. She was my personal attendant in my wedding almost 21 years ago and her daughter Amanda was a flower girl. I remember she could cook anything and make it taste amazing!! I especially loved the crab rangoon puffs she use to make for me all the time. She was so talented and creative. She always had a beautiful smile and the longest eye lashes that I was so jealous of. My prayers are with her children and family. May you all treasure the memories you have of her and may God give you peace and comfort through this time of grieving.

My prayers go out to Jason and all of Roxie's family. Roxie was a kind loving person. I had many good laughs with her while riding bicycle miles with her, or going to the Bucks game, a long time ago. Regretfully, I lost touch with her. She had many friends who cared for her. Peace and comfort to all. Lyne

Our heartfelt sympathy is extended to all of Roxy's family. Roxy and I have known each other for most of our lives, and our paths would continue to cross from time to time. Roxy was always cooking up something good, and was a natural at creating unique dishes in the kitchen. She loved her children, grandchild and family with all of her heart, and will continue to live on in each of you.
Roxy was a jokester and we enjoyed making each other laugh... I will miss you my friend. Until we meet again..

I'm so sorry for the loss of your mother, grandmother, sister and my dear friend Roxy. She's been my friend for the last 40 years. She would come in and out of my life. I was always so thrilled to see her at tmes I least expected it. Many of those times was at the state fair each year, since she was always in cooking contests and winning blue ribbons. I know how hard Roxy tried to make her own dream come true, only for some unknown reason something in life just seemed to get in her way. I've always admired her tenacity and spirit for trying over and over again for her dream to be real. What was most important in her life is her children and grandchild. She would drop everyhing for them to be her priority. You kids make her proud, because she's watching. May my dearest friend now be quiet and at peace. I will see you again someday Roxy.

Roxy you touched my daughters heart so much. She thought of you as her other mother. The day we picked her up from work and she told us what happen, she said Roxy was just like me but just older. Then I felt really bad when you called the night before, but I didn't know how to use Stevie's cell phone to answer back. She had your name in the phone as mama Roxy.
I will never forget the night Stevie wanted to see me and you and Jason brought her down at 11:00 at night. You sat in my chair and we talked as if we knew each other for years. I wish we had more time together. You took Stevie in and loved her as if she were your own. As well as Boston. Stevie said he would take the wine bottles out of the rack and carry them around and it made you laugh.
Well sweetie, you are at peace now. We have our memories of you to remember. I have to think you are in Heaven with my dad having a good old time. You really liked his picture. I told Stevie that dad was going to be with you. She didn't take the news to well since you had plans with her on Thursday night. She was in denial and we had to come to the house and see Jason before I went back to town. I took her with me because she was so sad. You touch her heart so much. I am really glad I got the chance to meet you that night.
PEACE~N~LOVE SWEETIE!
