Hildegard Bartman

Hildegard Helena Bartman, 57, died Sunday, April 1, 2007 at Iowa Methodist Medical Center. Hildegard’s family will greet friends Tuesday, April 3rd from 7-9 PM at New Life Lutheran Church in Norwalk. Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Wednesday at the church. A private burial will be held at the Westlawn-Hillcrest Cemetery in Omaha.
Hildegard worked for Mid America Energy as a systems operation technician. She enjoyed reading, quilting, sewing and cooking. She especially loved playing with her grandchildren. Hildegard will be remembered as a giving person who loved family and life.
Hildegard is survived by her husband, John; her sons, John (Andrea) Bartman, and Jason (Susan) Bartman; her daughter, Kristina (Jeremy) Godfrey; her brothers and sisters, Waltraut (Paul) Kozol, Ursula Geary, Kurt Haase, Kathe (Rob) Heye, Giodo (Susan) Haase, Berbel (John) Gilchrist and Ruth (Bill) Baker; her grandchildren, Morgan, Marin, Mya, Marcus and Jeremy Jr. and many other relatives and friends.
Memorial contributions may be made to New Life Lutheran Church.
