Bambi-
I have never before written condolences for a patient of mine but I felt
an need to let you and your family and friends know that Marc touched me
as well as the staff at the Endoscopy Unit. He always has a big smile
and an amazingly postitve attitude that I found contagious. I always
enjoyed seeing him come through the door.
He will be greatly missed and my prayers are with you and your family.

Carole, Bob, and Byers Family,
I am so sorry to hear about the passing of your boy Marc. I remember him so well from the summers he worked at Winnebago Customer Service. I had totally lost track of him once you and Bob left Winnebago and moved away from Forest City. I recall so well his charismatic personality. When he would walk into a room, the room would just get brighter. There are few people that have that gift, but your Marc, was one of them. I remember he was always smiling, and he was never bashful and would make friends in an instant, even to strangers. I know words cant bring him back, but we will have his memories forever. I am proud to have known him.
I am now 60 and have since retired out of Winnebago over two years ago after 38 years. Bev and I adopted two special needs boys, Norman 19, who is at UNI in Cedar Falls and Tyler is 16 and is in 10th grade at FCHS. Our daughter Angela lives in St. Paul, Mn. and has been married for about two years. Bev is now at the FCMS and works as a paraprofessional with some of the middle school special needs kids. On behalf of our family you have our deepest sympathy and you all will be in our thoughts and prayers as we know you are going thru a very hard time.
As requested we will make a contribution to the Hospice of North Iowa in memory of Marc.

Bambi,
Although I did not know Marc, I can tell from the stories I've heard from Katie and Sue that he was truly an amazing man and was loved by everyone he met. You and all your adorable children will be in my prayers. I am very, very sorry for your loss.

To all of Marc's family,
The love, perseverance, determination and strength that your family has demonstrated over the last many months has been awe inspiring. Marc has touched so many lives and taught me so much about the way I want to live the rest of my life. He is missed and loved by so many. I grew up with Marc and have endless memories of him everyone includes his big smile and contagious laugh!
The gifts in life lessons you have taught so many are priceless just one more thing in a very long list to be proud of.
May God bless your family during the very painful time. You will all be in my thoughts and prayers.
Love,
Wendy Steil

Bambi, for five years many of my work days began when someone behind me would boom "Hi, Mark!" I would respond in kind and belt out "Hi, Marc!" We'd both chuckle, everyone else slightly annoyed, Marc and Mark were in the house.
Bambi, my condolences to you and your family.
