Margaret Ann Klobnak, 81, passed away February 24, 2011, at ManorCare Health Services in West Des Moines. Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Monday, February 28, 2011, at West Des Moines Open Bible Church, 1100 Ashworth Road in West Des Moines, followed by burial at McDivitt Grove Cemetery in Urbandale. Family will greet friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Hamilton’s on Westown Parkway, 3601 Westown Parkway in West Des Moines.
Margaret was born January 15, 1930, in Johnston, Iowa, to Jarrett and Mabel Goodman. She worked at Norwalk Bank for 30 years as a bookkeeper and teller. She also worked as vice president of Norwalk Pharmacy, Inc. Margaret enjoyed music, reading, crossword puzzles, and spending time with her family. She will be remembered as a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
Margaret is survived by her husband, Howard; sons, Wes (Lisa) Klobnak, Dennis (Carla) Klobnak, Doug (Phebe) Klobnak, and Kevin (Angie) Klobnak; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; brothers, Jerry (Barbara) Goodman and Major (Sheila) Goodman; sister-in-law, Susie Goodman; and brother-in-law, Forrest Hurd. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Bob Goodman; sisters, Hazel Langness and her husband Ernest, Dorthia Hurd, and Mary Watts and her husband Alre.

Dear Uncle Dean and family,
Our family is sorry to hear about Aunt Margaret passing away. She was a wonderful woman of God and her Christ-like example was and continues to be an inspiration for all of us. She was soft spoken woman with a great strong character that always reflected the love of Christ. Her faith was resilient and her dedication to the Lord and her family was exemplary.
We will miss Aunt Margaret and her beautiful smile and encouraging words. We know that she is in heaven now rejoicing with her Savior but we still feel the loss of our favorite aunt who meant so much to us all.
We pray the Lord will strengthen and comfort you and the family during this difficult time.

Dear Uncle Dean and family.
Sending prayers and in our thots the lose of Aunt Margaret. She was a very special loving lady! I looked forward to her Christmas cards each year to hear the family news. Thanks Uncle Dean this year for the one sent. She made me so happy when she and Uncle Dean came all the way to see the folks when they were in then nursing home! I know the folks were glad to see them and I could see the love she had for her sister! Precious memories! Now she is with Mom and Dad praising our Lord. Keeping you in prayer. Dear Dean and family, How sad I am to hear of Margaret's death. She was a wonderful aunt to me. I remember sitting beside her at the Urbandale Open Bible church in the 1940's and 1950's, with my mother every week. She was always so beautiful. She was always encouraging and had a wonderful laugh. She was one of the first people I alsways wanted to see when we go back to Iowa. I pray that your family will find peace knowing that Margaret is in Heaven with a brand new body, worshiping God and reunited with many family members who have gone on before her.
