Roger Anderson

Roger C Anderson, 88, passed away Wednesday, February 23, 2011, at Regency Care Center in Norwalk, IA. He was born on August 19, 1922, in Arthur, IA.

Roger spent his career teaching, and was a Drama Instructor and Director at Roosevelt High School from 1952 to 1983. During his tenure he directed over 75 musicals and plays, and was a lifelong opera fan.

He is survived by his wife, Noomi; his children, Valerie, Cindy (Gough), Curtis, and Craig; and his grandchildren, Oliver, Dominic, and Madeline Gough.

Friends and Family may call on Monday, February 28, at Hamilton’s Southtown Funeral Home, 5400 SW 9th Street, Des Moines, from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m., with funeral services at 11:00 a.m.
