Rose M. Eveland

Rose Eveland, 76, passed away February 22, 2011, at Mercy Medical Center.

Rose was born January 18, 1935, in Des Moines. She loved to oil paint. Rose also enjoyed quilting, sewing, knitting and making jewelry.

Rose is survived by her daughters, Sheryl (Mark) Hurley and Terri (Mike) Whitney; son, Donald L. Eveland; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; her sister, Dollie Watters; and brother, Everett Northway.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald B. Eveland; parents, Dollie and Everett Northway; five sisters; and one brother.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Monday, February 28, 2011, at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street, followed by burial at Laurel Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service, at the funeral home.
