Letha Parmenter

Letha Parmenter, 94, passed away February 22, 2011 at Iowa Methodist Medical Center. Funeral services will be 2:30 p.m. Saturday, February 26, 2011 at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street, followed by burial at Laurel Hill Cemetery. Family will greet friends one hour prior to the service.

Letha was born February 17, 1917. She retired from Blue Cross Blue Shield and enjoyed sewing and crocheting.

Letha is survived by her daughters, Carol Jurovich and Sheryl Andre; eight grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Merle Newton; second husband, William Parmenter; and son, Norman Newton.
