Clifford L. Thompson

Clifford Thompson, 72, passed away February 22, 2011, in Des Moines, while undergoing treatment for cancer. Funeral service will be 1:00 p.m. Monday, February 28, 2011, at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street in Des Moines. Family will greet friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday, February 27, 2011, at the funeral home.

Clifford was born October 7, 1938, in Des Moines to Clifford and Lillian Thompson. He retired from John Deere and enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Clifford is survived by his children, Bart Thompson, Wendy Stevens, Julie Ortiz, Brad Thompson, and Tiffany Grylls; 11 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and brother, Bobby Thompson.
