Addison O. Fredericks

Addison Oliver Fredericks, 66, passed away on Friday, February 18, 2011, from sudden cardiac arrest. Services were held on Wednesday, February 23, 2011, conducted by Pastor Robert Hoefler of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, with assistance by Deacon Bill Richer.

Addison was born in New York, NY to Josephine and Douglas Fredericks. He was a member of the National Guard and worked as a Designer for John Deere Product Engineering Center in Waterloo for 35 years, retiring in 2001 to do what he loved doing most – spending time with his family.

He was a devoted, generous and remarkable husband and father. Addison will be forever missed by his wife, Mary Jo; son, Sean (McKinze); and daughter, Kelly Fredericks. He was preceded in death by his parents.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a fund established in Addison’s name at Veridian Credit Union. These funds will be distributed to some of Addison’s favorite charitable causes.
