Service Details
Austin DeHaai, 15-month-old son of David and Brenda DeHaai, passed away February 16, 2011, at Blank Children’s Hospital. He was born November 16, 2009. Austin was an avid Thomas the Train fan.
In addition to his parents, those left to cherish his memory are his grandparents, Don and Sharon Spurling and Gene and Nancy DeHaai; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Funeral services will be held at 9 a.m. Saturday, February 19, 2011, at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street, followed by burial at Glendale Cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be directed to the family.

The whole DeHaai family sends their deepest sympathy to all of you. My brother (David DeHaai who is married to a Brenda also and they are from Monroe) called me early Saturday morning to let me know in advance about your son's obituary and it broke all of our hearts to learn about little Austin. Our prayers are with you in this really sad time of your life. Though his time on earth was short lived, he gets to play in eternity at the hands of god.

We miss you already Austin. Your smile lit up everything around you and your enthusiasm was contagious. Your determination to figure out anything new, whether it was a new toy or a new skill is inspirational. We love you so very much.
