Loren Deering, 61, passed away February 9, 2011. Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, February 19, 2011, at Faith Missionary Baptist Church, 3415 3rd Street.
Loren is survived by his daughters, Shawnette Deering and Sheila Spivey; son, Montez Deering; brothers, Bill and Louie Deering; and a host of other extended relatives and friends.

I am very grateful to have been able to meet and get to know my Uncle Loren. Even though it was brief and we lost touch with one another over the years as families often do,he will forever be in my heart.
