Millie Holmes

Millie F. Holmes, 77 entered eternal life surrounded by her children on March 29, 2007.
Funeral Services will be held at 12:00 p.m. April 3, 2007 at Hamilton’s near Highland Memory Gardens, burial will follow at Pine Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Monday evening at the funeral home.

Millie was born November 29, 1929 in Old Foster, IA to James and Hazel Anderson. She was employed by Iowa Methodist Hospital for 37, years retiring in 1994 to shop and travel.
Millie was a loving mother and grandmother. She also enjoyed gardening, camping and her sewing club.

Millie is survived by her children, Susan Cobb, Bruce Holmes (Cindy), Sharon (Del) Palmer, Brian Holmes and Brenda Sherrard (Jim), honorary children, Jean Nichols, Tom Sherrard and Ann Putz, and her nine grandchildren, ten great grandchildren and her sister, Margaret English. Preceding her in death were her parents, her husband Barney and sisters, Mary Manley, Louise Nash, Son in law, Charles Cobb and great grandson, Hunter Crowl.
