Hazel Rice

Hazel J. Rice, 70, of Des Moines died on Thursday, March 29, 2007 at her home in Des Moines. The family will greet friends from 4-7 PM Monday evening at Hamilton’s Southtown Funeral Home. Cremation will follow visitation.
Hazel was a loving Mother and homemaker and survived by her 4 children Charles (Barbara) Rice of Des Moines, Richard (Sherri) Rice of Des Moines, Vanessa (Marco) Rodriguez of Des Moines and LeRoy Rice of E. Moline, Illinois, her sisters Shirley Jones of Coal Valley, Illinois and Sandra VanWatermeulen of Moline as well as 13 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren with 2 on the way.
She was preceded in death by her husband Charles L. Rice, daughter-in-law Kathy Rice, her brothers Richard and Eugene Anderson and her sister Helen Anderson.
