Service Details
Darrel W. Sabbe, 58, died on February 4, at Mercy Medical Center. He worked as a periodical distributor and was a US Army Veteran. He was a passionate bowler.
A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, February 8th at the Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd at 11:00 AM; family will greet friends an hour prior.
He was preceded in death by his father, Philip; his son, Darrel, Jr.; and his sister Mary Voeller; he is survived by his wife, Barbara; his son, Jason (Misty) Sabbe; grandson, Ian; his mother, Lorraine M. Voeller; brother, Jerome (Sharon); sisters, Karen (Rick) Kazmaier, Cheryl (Don) McGeary, and JoAnn Voeller.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be directed to the family.

Dear Barb,
I was saddened to see Darrel's obit in the paper. I immediately thought of you and all the good times that the three of us had during the couple of years that I got to know you two.
This is one of those things where you think you are going to get in touch with people that you haven't seen for awhile, and then "life" gets in the way, and next thing a person knows you open up the paper and see a person that has been a very important part of your life is gone without getting to say good-bye, or see you later, or whatever.
I had heard that Darrel had colon cancer, and then with me getting the rug yanked out from underneath me, I just didn't get around to getting you two contacted---much to my loss.

sorry to here of your loss. my dad (leroy) is darrel's cousin. we live in north dakota close to were darrel was born so we are all thinking of all of you. vince

Sorry to hear about Daryl. He was a patient of Dr. Rico Bertagnolli's dentist office and Dr. Bertagnolli bowled with him on a league in the past at Bowlerama on Sunday nights. May God be with you and your family during these difficult days ahead. Your family is in our pryers.

Barb - so sorry of your loss. Please know he will be at peace and no longer suffering. It will all get better as time goes on and YOU will get through this. Just don't rush it and enjoy the memories as you have many to enjoy.
