Renay Adkisson, 34, died on Tuesday, February 1, 2011, at Bright Kavanagh House in Des Moines.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, February 5, 2011, at Cornerstone Family Church, 3114 SW 61st Street, Des Moines.
Renay was born May 22, 1976, in Des Moines to Deborah (Hemminger) and Charles Richards. She enjoyed spending time with her children and family.
Renay is survived by her husband, Chad; her children, Damian, Jordan and Caius; and by her mother, Deborah Hemminger. She is preceded in death by her father, Charles Richards; and her brother, Adam Richards.
Memorial contributions may be directed to the family in loving memory of Renay.

I want you to know that Tiffani's Aunt Dee LOVES you with all my heart and that from the time I met you, you were just part of our family! I never got to meet your mom, but I know I would have loved her too, because you are a part of her! Please my Jordan know that I am here for you any time day or night! I will see you soon!

To my family~
There is so much I want to say, but I have no words. Sounds silly, right? We have neglected to keep in contact with each other, show respect and love to one another and unite as the family we once were. Although, miles between us keep us from seeing each other on a day to day basis I need you to know none of you leave my thoughts! I have loved you all, good and bad, all my life and I always will. My prayers are with this (my) family now and for whatever the future holds, I do pray for the best. I love you.
