Pauline O. Price

Pauline O. Price was born in Osceola, IA on July 23, 1917, the sixth of 13 children. She died peacefully on January 30, 2011, at Mercy Hospice in Johnston.

Pauline was an ardent collector of many things. She enjoyed crocheting, crafting and BINGO.

Pauline was preceded in death by her husband, Chet; ten brothers and sisters, Edna, Harrison, Geneva, Vica, Mary, Bessie, Gerald, Georgia, Willene and Maxine; her son, Robert; daughter-in-law, Helen Price (Bob's wife); and daughter-in-law Annie (Don's wife). She leaves behind her son, Donald (Deb) Price; brothers, Robert (Marilyn) Snell of Osceola and Arthur Snell of Miami, OK; four grandchildren, Jim, Julie and Jeff Price and Jeannie (Chad) Floden; and two great-granddaughters, Annie and Hailey Floden.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, February 3, 2011, at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street, followed by burial at Glendale Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Mercy Hospice in Johnston.
