Nancy Belluchi, 53, died January 29, 2011, at Methodist West Hospital in West Des Moines. Funeral service will be 10 AM Friday, February 4, 2011, at Hamilton’s on Westown Parkway, 3601 Westown Parkway in West Des Moines, with burial at Glendale Cemetery.
Nancy was born January 28, 1958, to Albert and Freda Belluchi. She lived at a Mainstream Living facility, and was employed by Link Associates. She belonged to Action Club, and participated in the Special Olympics. She loved going to Camp Sunnyside, where she won the Giggles Award. She had a knack for remembering everyone’s birthdays, loved listening to Bobby V music and loved to tease.
Nancy is survived by her sisters, Barbara (Jim) Wertz; and Janet (Sue Dwyer) Belluchi; her nieces: Cindy (Ed) Ford, Sheila Wertz, and Marla (Jess) Loughborough; her nephew John (Sue) Wertz; her roommates: Marcie, Manuel, Rick and Steve; her special caregivers Ullonda, Tracy, and Carol, and her special friend, Frank. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Visitation will be 5 to 7 PM Thursday, February 3, 2011, at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Mainstream Living or Link Associates in loving memory of Nancy.

We are so sorry to hear of your loss. Nancy and my sister, Barbi, were classmates and then co-workers. Our family got to know Nancy over the years and I remember she loved socials -- especially the dances -- that were held at school and at Link Associates.
She was blessed with a loving family, and blessed you all with her love, devotion and laughter.

Who's my lady and who my gal Nancy Belluchi my bestest bestest pal. This is a little tune I used to sing to my Belluchi. You are loved by many. The creator put me in your life as a Angel to watch over you, and now that he has taken you home, you are watching over me. Remember like we said when you know I am coming please wait at the gates of heaven to bring me in.:)

Nancy you will be dearly missed by Employees of Mainstream living. They really loved you dearly. May God give comfort to your family during this trying moment.
