Nadean V. Welch

Nadean Welch, 80, passed away January 25, 2011, at Iowa Lutheran Hospital.

Nadean was born August 9, 1930, in Des Moines to Rush and Vernice Jenkins.She retired from Mercy Hospital. Nadean loved to read and crochet.

She was a devoted mother and grandmother. Nadean leaves to cherish her memory her children, Paul Rice, Rhonda (James) Lucas and Sheila Webb; brother, Doyle (Barbara) Jenkins; seven grandchildren and many great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Philip; brother, Lyle Jenkins; and sister, Viola Denhart.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, January 28, 2011, at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street, followed by burial at Glendale Cemetery. Visitation will be held two hours prior to the service Friday at the funeral home.
