Denise Stone

Denise Bieghler Stone, 47, died unexpectedly Tuesday, January 18, 2011, at Broadlawns Medical Center, from complications of kidney surgery. She was born July 6, 1963, to Donald and Phyllis Bieghler in Des Moines.

She enjoyed crafts, crocheting, and playing games on her computer.

Denise is survived by her mother, Phyllis Bieghler; brother, Don (Emily) Bieghler, Jr.; nephew, D.J. (Carol) Bieghler; fiancé, Celso “Luis” Ramirez and his children, Emily and Kelvin; a host of other family and beloved friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Don Bieghler, Sr.; infant son, Anthony Patrick Stone, Jr., paternal grandparents, Carroll and Gladys Bieghler; and maternal grandparents, Chester and Irene Sumpter.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Monday, January 24, 2011, at Hamilton’s near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 NW 60th Avenue, with burial to follow at Union Cemetery. Family will visit with friends from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
