Phylis Littell

Phylis M. Littell, 85, passed away January 7, 2011, at Taylor Hospice House.

Phylis was born May 13, 1925, in Des Moines. She retired from Cargill in 1969. Phylis loved crossword puzzles and number games. She also enjoyed collecting Cabbage Patch dolls and M&M items.

Phylis is survived by her sons, Larry (Tammy) Littell of Kremmling, CO and John Littell of Des Moines; six grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; brother, Roger (Beverly) Williams of Des Moines; sister, Janeen (Kenneth) Desing of Albuquerque, NM; 31nieces and nephews; and special son, Chuck Ballard of Ankeny.

Burial of cremated remains will take place in May.
