Bonnie Hiatt

Bonnie Kathryn Hiatt, 91, died Saturday, January 8, 2011, at Ramsey Village in Des Moines. She was born March 14, 1919, in Des Moines to Willard and Ada (Stevens) Stout.

Bonnie was a long-time member of Highland Park Presbyterian Church where she taught Sunday school and was involved in Presbyterian Women of the Church. She loved to bowl, knit, and sew.

Bonnie is survived by her sister-in-law, Margie (Bob) Green of Bondurant; brother-in-law, Jack Grange; nephews, Jim (Berdena), Mike (Judy), Jack (Darlene), and John (Mary) Hiatt, all of Des Moines; nieces, Deb (Dale) Rieck of Bondurant, and Lori Neff of Altoona as well as many other family members. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, James E. Hiatt; and sister, Maxine Grange.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, January 12, 2011, at Highland Park Presbyterian Church, 321 Euclid Avenue, Des Moines, with burial to follow at Pine Hill Cemetery. Family will visit with friends one hour prior to service time at the church.

Memorial contributions may be made to Highland Park Presbyterian Church in loving memory of Bonnie.
