Kham Luthi, 81, died on Wednesday, January 5, 2011.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 8, 2011, at Hamilton’s near Highland Memory Gardens, with a burial of cremated remains on Monday, January 10, 2011, at Glendale cemetery.

Kham Luthi was born December 29, 1929, in Sonla, Vietnam. She is survived by her daughter, Mui King of Des Moines, IA; son, Dyouan Luvan of Cedar Rapids, IA; daughter Lyn Luthi of Jonesboro, GA; son, Hien Luvan of Des Moines, IA; daughter, Pathana Thongvanh of Newton, IA; son, Bounlai Lovan of Montpelier, France; daughter, Ting Kao of Overland Park, KS; son, Vilaykham Luvan of Des Moines, IA; daughter-in-law, Huych Luvan of Des Moines, IA; grandson, Tora Luvan of Des Moines, IA; 20 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Kham is preceded in death by her husband, Nhan Luvan; son, Phoung Luvan; and grandson, Panna Luvan.

She was a homemaker all of her life and enjoyed working in her garden. She was a loving mother and grandmother.
