J.R. Fuller

J. Ronald “Ron” Fuller, 96, died December 27, 2010, at Iowa Lutheran Hospital.

Ron was born October 7, 1914, in Des Moines to Edward and Mary Fuller. He was a lifelong resident of Des Moines’ East side. Ron served in the U.S. Army during WWII and retired from Armstrong Tire & Rubber. He was a member of Union Park United Methodist Church.

Ron is survived by his son, Robert L. (Virginia) Fuller; and daughter, Carol E. Fuller. He was preceded in death by his wife, Alice.

Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, December 29, 2010, at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street, followed by burial at Masonic Cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
