June B. Fisher

June B. Fisher, 90, died peacefully December 25, 2010, at Fountain West Care Center in West Des Moines. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Friday, December 31, 2010, at Hamilton’s Southtown Funeral Home, 5400 SW 9th Street, with burial at Chapel Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

June was born June 27, 1920. She enjoyed sewing, doing crossword puzzles, and playing BINGO at Fountain West. She is survived by her daughters: Leilani Hemminger, Beverly (Charles) Mattingley, and Leslyn (Brian) Smith; 15 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, and great-great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her daughter Bonnalee Fisher; her son, Robert Fisher; and her brothers.

Memorial contributions may be made to the family in loving memory of June.
