Bessie Louise Eveland

Bessie Louise Eveland, 97, passed away Saturday, December 25, 2010, at Parkridge Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Pleasant Hill. She was born July 23, 1913, in Crocker, Iowa to Thomas & Florence (Blough) Olson.

Funeral service will be 1 p.m. Wednesday, December 29, 2010, at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street, with burial at Laurel Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be 1 hour prior to the service.

She is survived by sons, Richard (Gladys) and Gerald (Lou) Eveland; twelve grandchildren; twenty two great grandchildren and eleven great-great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Leonard; son, Donald; daughter, Geneva Allison; brothers, Clair, Richard, Marion and sisters, Margaret and Mabel.
