Ernestine A. "Tina" (Cotter) Minard

Ernestine “Tina” A. (Cotter) Minard, 96, was born July 27, 1914, to Minnie and James Holman in Des Moines, Iowa. She died Saturday, December 18, 2010, at Taylor House in Des Moines, Iowa. She lived all her life in east Des Moines and was a graduate of East High. She was a hard worker and was a firm believer in God.

She is survived by her son, Robert (Marion) Cotter, 3 grandchildren, Steve, Jay and Robin McDaniel, ten great grandchildren and 2 great-great granddaughters. She was preceded in death by her two husbands, J.D. Cotter and John Minard.

Funeral Services will be 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 22, at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street, Des Moines, Iowa, with burial to follow at Laurel Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the funeral home.

Memorial Contribution may be made to Taylor House, 3401 E. Douglas, Des Moines, Iowa 50317, in loving memory of Tina.
