Kerry Joe Heathcote

Kerry Heathcote, 48, passed away at his home on Wednesday, December 1, 2010.

A visitation will be held at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street, Tuesday, December 7, 2010, from 6 to 8 p.m.

Kerry was born November 2, 1962, in Des Moines to Gloria and Herbert “Joe” Heathcote. He was an excellent mechanic and racing fan. Kerry enjoyed everything from NASCAR to drag racing. Anything fast, or anything that he could make fast, he’d work on. Kerry loved his family and was a good grandfather.

Kerry is survived by his son, Anthony Thompson and daughter, Heather Thompson; his grandkids, Montay Webb, Jaden Webb, Cheyenne Thompson, Shawn Reynolds, Marissa Thompson, Alexis Thompson and Kendell Holmes; his brothers, Ken Heathcote and Jack Heathcote; his sister, Shannon Heathcote; and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. He is preceded in death by his parents, Joe and Gloria and his son, Zachary Thompson.
