Jeannette Vignaroli, 90, died peacefully Sunday, November 28, 2010, at Valley View Village in Des Moines. Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, December 1, 2010, at Ss. John and Paul Parish, 1401 1st Avenue S. in Altoona, with burial at Glendale Cemetery in Des Moines. Visitation will be two hours prior to mass at the church.
Jeannette was born July 23, 1920, to Dollie and William Davis in Des Moines. She is a member of Polka Dance Club, Vittoria Lodge, and is in the Iowa Women’s Softball Hall of Fame.
Jeannette is survived by her daughter, Sharon (Douglas) Vail; her son Gunner (Diane) Vignaroli; six grandchildren; and sixteen great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband, Gunner J. Vignaroli.
