Gary Crandall

Gary Lee Crandall, 65, passed away at his home Thursday, March 22, 2007. Funeral services will be at 10am Thursday, March 29th at Hamilton’s Southtown Funeral Home with burial to follow at Vandalia Cemetery.
Gary was born July 1, 1941 in Iowa City, Iowa, the son of Bud and Burell Crandall. He was a drywaller for many years throughout the Des Moines area. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family.
Gary is survived by his daughter, Wendy (Todd) Pyykola of Charles City; son, Keith (Martha) Crandall of Norwalk; grandchildren, Alisha Allen, Tarra Beam, Jessica Crandall, and Perrin, Elisha and Christina Taylor; great-grandchildren, Clair, Isabella, Brooke, Makayla, Andrea and Christian; sisters, Janice Quirk, Nancy Stratton, Cheryl Thompson and Linda Murphy; brother, Keith Crandall; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Ruby Clair, and his parents.
The family will greet friends from 6-8pm Wednesday, March 28 at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the family.
