I worked at RR Donnelley with Joe. I was only 18, straight out of high school in 1991. Joe helped me celebrate my 21st birthday. He always worked hard and in return, we worked hard. I have a real appreciation for having met him and becoming a friend. I'm sorry to here of his passing at such an early age. I remember that smile to this day! My condolences to the family. I'm not sure you will ever see this but hopefully Joe does.

I am very sorry for your loss.
Although it has been many years since I have seen Joe, I have very pleasant memories of all the E. Ovid neighbor kids and the fun we had playing together. The parades with bikes, trikes, wagons, roller skates, etc. were fun and the hours we spent playing softball, hide and seek, and other outside games was great. I remember all the Harban, Traviss and Fenton kids walking together to Adams Elementary School until about 1952 when we moved to another house.
Sympathy and blessings to you all.

Linda - we're so sorry for your untimely loss of Joe. He went way before his time.
We have enjoyed both Joe's and your company for many years. You always made us feel so welcome in your home and on your land. We have very fond memories of days spent in the sun and in or on the water. One of our highlights from this summer was getting Joe actually in the water on a float to soak up the sun with us.
Joe always seemed to be in a happy mood - always, always smiling. It was so good to just sit and visit with him and to hear him laugh and share stories. We will miss that. very much.
Love you,
Bob and Mary Beth
