Of course I didn't know Frieda but since I knew her father, I wanted to send my words of greeting to the family. T. F. Gullixson was president of Luther Seminary when I was a student there and we all appreciated that he was the man with the "golden tongue". Just listening to him use the English language when he was giving announcements was a treat. He was also responsible for handing out peaching assignments. Sometimes he would be waiting outside the door of the class where a student was so that he could catch him when class let out to indicate that a preaching assignment would be available for the following Sunday.
I also note that Frieda was a classmate of my brother Jack at St. Olaf in the class of 1937. Blessed be her memory.
