Jean Bringoff

Jean Ellen Bringolf, 92, of Des Moines, died November 2, 2006, at Valley View Village.
Jean was born in Des Moines, Iowa, November 9, 1913. She lived in Des Moines most of her life. Jean was a loving Mother, Grandmother and Great-grandmother. She was a caregiver for any family member who needed assistance of any kind. She was always helpful, always caring and most of all understanding and loving to family and friends and she cherished the time she spent with them. Jean enjoyed reading, cooking and had a great interest in her Swedish Heritage. She was a lifetime member of First Lutheran Church, now Capitol Hill Lutheran Church.
Jean was preceded in death by her husband, Richard and daughter, Joan. Survivors include: daughter, Judith (Thomas) O’Leary; three grandchildren, Greg (Denise) O’Leary, Linda (Stephen) Duckett, and Susan Woods; and six great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 7, 2006, at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 8, 2006, at Capitol Hill Lutheran Church. Memorial contributions may be made to Capitol Hill Lutheran Church, Hospice of Central Iowa, or Valley View Village Memorial Fund.
