Barbara Roseberry

Barbara Roseberry, 75, died Thursday, November 4, 2010, at Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines. The funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, November 9, 2010 at Hamilton’s Altoona Funeral Home, 105 4th Street SW in Altoona, with burial at Bondurant Cemetery.

Barbara was born February 1, 1935, in Des Moines to Irene and Walter Hiatt. She enjoyed gardening and her pets, and especially spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Barbara is survived by her children: Elizabeth (Steve) Erickson, Thomas (Kelly) Roseberry, and Dan (Kelley) Roseberry; nine grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; and her sisters: Leah Trent, Vera White, and Peggy Cunningham. She was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin; and her parents.

Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday, November 8, 2010, at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Animal Rescue League in loving memory of Barbara.
