Robert "Bob" Purcell

Robert “Bob” Purcell passed away November 3, 2010. He was born to Lee and Marie (Nolan) Purcell June 10, 1948. Bob married Cecelia Cunningham June 9, 1967, just days after graduating from South East Polk High School where he was a star football player.

Bob is survived by his wife; children, Dawn (Donald) Lloyd, Robert (Delaina) Purcell, Jacquelyn (Joseph) Tschirren and Andria (Oobee) Olopwi. He also leaves behind his 13 grandchildren; five great-children; siblings, Penny (John) Gall, Peggy (Paul) Bedwell, Linda Purcell and Steve Purcell; along with many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and grandson, Zachary.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, November 8, 2010, at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street, followed by burial at Berwick Cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.
