Anita J. Morton

Anita J. Morton, 47, went to be with her Lord on November 3, 2010. She was born on November 1, 1963 in Ft. Meade, MD to Bob and Swede Morton and attended school in El Segundo, CA before moving to Iowa in 1987. Anita worked for Iowa Health Physicians before retiring due to ill health.

She is survived by her parents; brother Bill (Darla); nieces, Rebecca (Curt) and Shelley; and many other family and friends. Anita donated her body to the University of Iowa for medical research.

A memorial service will be held at New Hope Assembly, where she was a charter member, on Thursday, November 18, 2010 at 6:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to her church or to the Lupus Foundation.
