Vera Doris Pool

Vera Doris Pool, 96, died on October 26, 2010, at the Valley View Village.

Memorial Services will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, November 1, 2010, at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street. Visitation will be prior to the service from 9:00 – 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be at Evergreen Cemetery, Lineville, IA.

Vera was born October 22, 1914, in Decatur County, IA to Pearl (Stover) and Henry Bright. She retired from Genuine Parts Company where she worked as a clerk.

Vera is survived by her nephews Dr. James Pool and David Pool, cousins Cheryl Barclay and Winston Barclay, and great niece, Jaime Soria. She was preceded in death by her husband Richard Pool.

Memorial Contribution may be made to First United Methodist Church, Des Moines, Iowa in loving memory of Vera.
