Our thoughts and prayers are with Aunt Ruth's family and friends. Aunt Ruth was an energetic, bright, and engaging lady who worked hard all her life and she especially enjoyed entertaining people in her home. Her spirit is now free to join her mother, father, brothers, and sisters in God's heavenly embrace.
She was a wonderful cook and she excelled in her specialty pies, cakes, and cookies. Hundreds of quilts remain with family and friends in cozy celebration of a life well lived.
Aunt Ruth made a tremendous impact on everyone who knew her. In addition to being a wonderful mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend, she was devoted to her faith and to her church. She did not know a stranger and she always made sure no one ever left her home with an empty stomach.
We will miss our Aunt Ruth very much, but we know heaven must now be a happier place. We shall always cherish her memory and keep it alive in our hearts, knowing that by God's good grace she is safely reunited with her loved ones that have gone before her.
