Jack Lindsay

Jack Lindsay, 82, died Sunday October 24, 2010, at Mercy Hospice Johnston. Per Jack’s request, his body has been bequeathed to Des Moines University and no services are planned.

Jack was born January 23, 1928, to John and Alice Lindsay in Camp Hill, IL. He served in the Army during WWII and then again in the Air Force during the Korean War. Jack retired as a heavy equipment operator for the city of Pasadena, CA.

Jack is survived by his wife of 34 years, Mary; son, Dan (Robin) Lindsay of Grimes; special grandson, Tyler Lindsay; and son, Jack (Cheryl Snyder) Lindsay of Nebraska City, NE; brother-in-law, Mike Thomas of Nebraska City, NE; and a host of other family and friends.

Memorial contributions may be made to Mercy Hospice Johnston in loving memory of Jack.
