Ruth Stark

Ruth Stark, 83, passed away October 20, 2010, at the Taylor Hospice House.

Ruth was born June 5, 1927, in Mercer MO to Olivia and Archie Stark. She enjoyed visiting with friends and family, reading and needle work. She also enjoyed NASCAR when her TV would work.

Ruth is survived by her son, Lee (Darline) Stark; three grandchildren; six great grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; sisters, Darlene, Shirley and Rosa; brothers, Ira and Cliff. She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Mary and Opal.

A visitation will occur from 6-8 PM Friday, October 22, 2010, at Hamilton’s Southtown Funeral Home, 5400 SW 9th Street, Des Moines. A graveside service will be held 10 AM Saturday, October 23, 2010 at the Evergreen Cemetery in Lineville, IA.
