I'm truly sorry for your loss. I will be unable to attend the services, but I wanted you to know how special Mary Jo was to me.
I worked with her at Des Moines General, she was an extraordinary nurse.
Then, later she was my nurse when she was with Dr. Gannon and
then at Mercy Capitol Internal Medicine until her retirement and
I have always missed her. She was so helpful and compassionate.
I asked at the office about her many times and I know that they
were limited in what they could tell me but I wanted you to
know that she was in my thoughts and prayers.
In addition to being a great professional she was also fun-loving and
a real joy to be around. The world will miss her prescence.
Sincere sympathy,
Cathy Hoffman
