Marie Maxwell, 78, passed away October 15, 2010, at Taylor House Hospice.
Marie was born January 3, 1932, in Lucas County, Iowa. She enjoyed sewing, cooking, playing Dominos and spending time with children. Marie was a member of Southtown Pentecostal Church.
Marie is survived by her children, John (Sue) Maxwell, Jimmy (Grace) Maxwell, Sherry Maxwell and Charlene (Gene) Wheeler; brother, Francis Pfrimmer; 15 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill; son, Billy; and daughter, Rose.
A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, October 18, 2010, at Laurel Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street.
