Paulette Brumer

Paulette Ann Brumer, daughter of Roy and Stephanie Marcus, was born on March 7th, 1944 in LaCrosse, Wisconsin. Paulette was called home to the Lord surrounded by family on October 11, 2010. Paulette was joined in marriage to John Brumer, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin in 1962. John and Paulette lovingly raised 5 children together and were later divorced after many years of marriage.

Paulette enjoyed dancing, crafts, traveling, all types of music, fresh cut flowers, and flamingos. Most of all, she cherished time spent with family.

Paulette is survived by her five children: Pam (Dave) Sereg of Woodburn, IA, Greg (Guadalupe) Brumer of Des Moines, IA, Becky Thier of Des Moines, IA, Tim (Trisha) Brumer of Indianola, IA and Trina Brumer of Des Moines, IA.

Paulette is also survived by eleven grandchildren: Amy (& spouse Jaime), David, Steven, Stephanie, Phillip, Joshua, Keegan, Mason, Olivia, Anna, and Nailea. Paulette is also survived by her siblings Lucille Marcus, Roy (Arlone) Marcus, and Carol (David) Wick.

A celebration service of Paulette’s life will be held at 2:00 p.m. October 24, 2010, at Resurrection Lutheran Church in Ankeny, IA. Friends are invited to visit with the family immediately following the service.

Memorial contributions can be made to the Emphysema Foundation For Our Right To Survive (EFFORTS) and to Resurrection Lutheran Church in Ankeny, IA.
