Maxyne Loney

Maxyne Loney, 84, passed away October 7, 2010 at Taylor House Hospice.

Maxyne was born August 27, 1926 in Des Moines to Oliver and Hannah Rehard. She was a baker with the Des Moines Public Schools for many years.

Maxyne is survived by her daughters, Susan (Randy) Snyder and Lori (Robert Johnson) Stegink; grandchildren, Jenny, Jeff, Jill and Andy; and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Paul Loney; and sons, Paul “Fred” Loney, II and Richard Loney.

Visitation will be held from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday, October 9, 2010 at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street. Burial will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday at Mt. Zion Cemetery in Oakley, IA.
