Richard Boatright

Richard E. Boatright, 69, passed away suddenly Tuesday, September 28, 2010. Funeral services will be held at 11 am Saturday at Hamilton’s Southtown, 5400 SW 9th Street. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.

Richard was born November 4, 1940 in Des Moines. He was a plasterer. Richard was a member of Plasterers Local 21. He loved being with his family. Richard enjoyed gardening and being outdoors.

He is survived by his wife, Karen; his sons, Ron and Rick Boatright; his daughter, Brandi Gustafson; his father, Kenneth Boatright; his 6 grandchildren, his 2 great grandchildren; his brothers, Dennis and Robin; his sisters, Diana, Dixie, Roxanne and Sally. Richard was preceded in death by his mother, Phyllis.
