John Hagedorn

John Hagedorn, 79, of Des Moines, passed away on Sunday, March 18, 2007 of a massive heart attack. Funeral Services will be held Thursday, March 22 at 1 pm, with burial following in the Norwalk cemetery. There will be a visitation held on Wednesday, March 21, from 5-8 PM at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street.
John was a member of Grace Church, and loved to go fishing, and playing pool. He worked and retired from the Firestone plant here in Des Moines. He also served in the U.S. Army.
John is survived by his wife Beverly, his son David Hagedorn, his daughter Susan Martz, and his grandsons Aaron (A.J.) Martz, and Andrew Martz.
John is preceeded in death by his parents, John and Agnes Hagedorn, and two sisters, Phyllis Worley, and Ilene Howe.
