Service Details
Robert McFarlin Sr. was the owner of McFarlin’s Body Shop along with his partners Ann and Bob Jr. He loved going to work everyday and spending time with his family. Robert loved airplanes and auto races. He proudly served in the Navy during WWII and the Korean War.
He is survived by his wife Ann, his sons Robert and Perry (Laura), his grandchildren Kelsey and Alec, his sisters Roberta, Myrna (Paul), and Marsha (Bill) and his brother Richard.
There will be a visitation on Monday, September 27, 2010 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street. Burial will follow at a later date.

Bob.sr, Was a very Honest & True man" He Would go the extra mile too help someone out anyway he could" He had many talents' All in All he was one of a Kind!!! He touched the lifes of many people, and will be Remembered for years to come" I can truly say that i will Miss & Remember him for a long time" We should all take time and thank God, For putting a man like him on earth" My Prayers are with his wife' Ann, Bob,jr & Family.

We were terribly saddened and shocked at the death of Bob McFarlin.......we'd had one of our vehicles worked on at his shop, and he was always very kind, caring, and very considerate. We felt as though we'd known him and his son for a very long time....he was just that kind of person!!!!!
I drive by the body shop every day to take our son to/from work at Highland Memorial Gardens cemetery and would always look over and see him in the shop window, hard at work on the phone. I will truly miss his absence so very much. Sometimes it's the "little things" that really matter the most.
He was "one of a kind" and will be missed by many.

I am so sorry to see that Bob Sr passed away. He was a true eastsider and a very friendly man. He will be missed by all. Please accept our condolences
